Automotive Technology is a comprehensive course over the National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF) accreditation program. In Automotive Technology I: Maintenance and Light Repair, students will cover the basic theory and operation of vehicle brakes, steering and suspension, electrical systems, and engine performance, as well as learn essential employability skills.

There are no prerequisite courses for Principles of Transportation or Automotive Basics; although algebra, geometry, chemistry and physics skills are useful. For students interested in furthering their careers in Automotive Technology, Advanced Automotive Technology and Practicum in Transportation, Distribution and Logistics are also available. Practicum students will have the opportunity of job shadowing, mentorships and internships.
